Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Offers Condolences Over Khamenei’s Death

Baku: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his condolences to Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi over the death of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the casualties among civilians. During a telephone conversation, Bayramov extended his sympathies to the Iranian government and people during this challenging time.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the conversation also touched upon the hope that ongoing military operations would soon come to a halt. Both parties expressed a desire for the current situation to be resolved through dialogue and diplomatic means, adhering to international law norms and principles.
