Shusha: Azerbaijani leader has recommended Ukraine not to reconcile with occupation, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with participants of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, APA reports. Head of state has noted that Ukraine should not reconcile with occupation: “We have done it merely. Period of First Karabakh War was very difficult, tragic, we suffered from many casualties. Genocide was committed against Azerbaijanis in Khojaly city.”
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev shared insights from Azerbaijan’s own experiences, particularly referencing the First Karabakh War. He highlighted the severe challenges and tragic events endured by Azerbaijan during this period, including significant casualties and the genocide in Khojaly city.
