BAKU: The price of Azerbaijani oil, specifically the Azeri Light crude, saw a minor decrease in the global market, settling at $75.13 per barrel. This marks a $0.13 drop, or 0.20%, reflecting ongoing volatility in the oil markets.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the fluctuation in Azeri Light crude prices is part of a broader trend observed in the global oil market. Historically, Azeri Light crude reached its highest price of $149.66 per barrel in July 2008, whereas its lowest point was registered on April 21, 2020, when it fell to $15.81 per barrel. These historical benchmarks provide context for the current price movements, which are influenced by various geopolitical and economic factors affecting supply and demand.
