Baku: The Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan’s parliament, has officially adopted a statement acknowledging the fifth anniversary of September 27, also known as Remembrance Day. The statement was presented during a session attended by members of the parliament.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azer Amiraslanov, who chairs the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the parliament, read the statement aloud. Following the reading, members of the Milli Majlis voted to adopt the statement.

The session of the Milli Majlis was convened specifically to discuss and address the significance of September 27 as Remembrance Day, marking an important occasion in Azerbaijan’s national calendar. The adoption of the statement signifies the parliament’s recognition and commemoration of the day.
