Arusha:Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, along with a delegation from Azerbaijan, arrived in the United Republic of Tanzania for a working visit on October 3.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the purpose of the visit is to participate in the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

The Azerbaijani delegation was welcomed at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha by various officials, including Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ruslan Nasibov, and Abdallah Saleh Possi, Tanzania's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva.
