Muscat: The Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, paid an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on January 28, as reported by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis to APA. The visit underscores the ongoing diplomatic relations and parliamentary collaboration between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova was received at Muscat International Airport by Mohammed bin Salim As-Suleimani, a member of the parliamentary friendship group with Azerbaijan from the Shura Majlis of Oman. Other members of the Shura Majlis, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Oman Rashad Ismayilov, and various officials were also present to welcome the delegation.

During her visit, Sahiba Gafarova is scheduled to engage in a series of meetings with Omani officials. These meetings aim to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss potential areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Oman.
