Azerbaijani President Targets Key Sectors for Foreign Investment

Davos: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has identified mining, renewable energy, artificial intelligence (AI), and data centers as the primary sectors for attracting foreign investments. The announcement was made during the 'Azerbaijan Executive Breakfast' event, part of the annual World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, where Aliyev addressed questions from international business representatives.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that mining is a relatively new sector due to the recent liberation of territories from Armenian occupation, which has revealed significant potential for rare metals. The President elaborated on the active phase of surveys currently being conducted, utilizing advanced technological capabilities to assess the country's full potential in this sector.
