Azerbaijani Prime Minister and Slovak President Discuss Strategic Partnership Expansion

Baku: Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, emphasizing the potential for enhanced strategic partnership. The meeting, as reported by APA citing the Cabinet of Ministers, underscored the significance of President Pellegrini's official visit to Azerbaijan and his discussions with President Ilham Aliyev in Shusha, which are expected to significantly advance Azerbaijan-Slovakia strategic partnership relations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the dialogue highlighted the participation of Slovak companies in the reconstruction of Azerbaijan's liberated territories, focusing specifically on the construction of Bash Garvand village in the Aghdam district. The Slovak initiative to build and donate the Bash Garvand secondary school to Azerbaijan was acknowledged with gratitude, showcasing a gesture of goodwill and cooperation.

Both parties celebrated the development of collaboration across various sectors, including political, trade, economic, investment, energy, transport, and humanitarian fields. The discussions also touched upon the potential for expanding collaboration and implementing new joint projects in mutually beneficial areas.

Slovak President Pellegrini expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing dialogue, stating that the discussions aimed to transform strong political dialogue into practical cooperation, thereby creating lasting value for both economies, new opportunities for businesses, and tangible benefits for citizens.
