Azerbaijani Women Artists’ Exhibition Opens at Bah§esehir University in Istanbul

Istanbul: The Congress Center of Istanbul's Bah§esehir University (BAU) hosted the opening ceremony of an exhibition titled "The Elegance of Colors," featuring the works of Azerbaijani women artists. The exhibition was organized as part of a project by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Trkiye, with support from the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts and the Union of Azerbaijan Artists.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the opening ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov, Rector of BAU Professor Esra Hatipoglu, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center Samir Abbasov, Counselor of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Trkiye Fuzuli Majidli, university staff and students, as well as representatives of the public and art enthusiasts.

During the event, Rector Esra Hatipoglu highlighted the historical ties of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Trkiye, noting that the event marks the first exhibition organized at the new building of Bah§esehir University. Samir Abbasov, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center, emphasized the ancient and rich history and traditions of Azerbaijani fine arts.

Participants viewed the exhibition showcasing artworks by contemporary Azerbaijani female artists, including Boyukkhanim Zeynalova, Irina Eldarova, Aytan Rzaguliyeva, Yelena Allahverdiyeva, Leyla Isayeva, and others. The artworks explored themes such as the Motherland, Azerbaijani culture, nature, feminine beauty, and love.
