Brussels: Azerbaijan’s Head of Mission to NATO, Jafar Huseynzada, recently convened a meeting with NATO Deputy Secretary General, Radmila Shekerinska, as shared by the Azerbaijani diplomat on his X account, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions centered around the Azerbaijan-NATO partnership under the Partnership for Peace (PfP) Programme. The dialogue highlighted Azerbaijan’s contributions to NATO-led peace support operations and its role in ensuring energy security for Europe.

The meeting also explored Azerbaijan’s transport infrastructure’s significance on the global transport map and addressed current regional developments. As the partnership approaches its 30th anniversary, both parties expressed a strong commitment to continuing cooperation in 2024 and exchanged ideas on future collaboration for 2025.
