Baku: Azerbaijan's newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, Rashad Mammadov, has officially begun his diplomatic mission by presenting his credentials to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting between Mammadov and President Mirziyoyev highlighted the dynamic development of the strategic partnership and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, which are underpinned by a high level of mutual trust. Both sides stressed the significance of further expanding cooperation in areas such as the economy, investment, transport, logistics, and other priority sectors in alignment with the strategic course set by the two countries' leaders.
The discussion also saw both parties reaffirming their commitment to enhancing cooperation, with an aim to foster relations between the two nations and implement new joint initiatives.
