LONDON — During a press briefing, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission, disclosed the number of candidates registered by political parties for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a total of 305 candidates are official representatives of 25 different political parties. Additionally, 371 candidates, while affiliated with political parties, have not received official nominations from these entities. In total, 676 candidates have ties to political parties, reflecting a broad political spectrum and participation in the upcoming elections.
