BAKU — The State Statistical Committee has reported a substantial increase in investments within the Garabagh economic region, signaling robust economic growth.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, citing the Committee, stated that in 2023, investments totaled 2 billion 254.4 million manats, marking a 20% increase from the previous year. Notably, Khankendi city received its first-ever investment of 31,500 manats. The distribution of investments varied, with significant portions allocated to the Fuzuli, Shusha, and Aghdam districts, indicating targeted economic revitalization efforts in these areas. Conversely, some districts like Khojavend and Barda witnessed a decrease in investments, reflecting shifting economic priorities within the region.
