Baku:Azerbaijan is highlighted as a unique global player in the energy sector by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev stated this during his speech at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party. He emphasized that Azerbaijan is among the few countries worldwide capable of producing, extracting, and exporting a comprehensive range of energy resources.

These resources include crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas, electricity, petrochemical products, and fertilizers, all of which depend significantly on energy production.
