Baku: Azerbaijan's education spending is set to increase by 1.6% next year, according to APA, which cites a statement from the Ministry of Finance regarding the preliminary figures for the 2027 consolidated and state budgets.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the education expenditure for 2027 will total AZN 5 billion 98.2 million. This marks an increase of AZN 81 million 802 thousand, or 1.6 percent, compared to the previous year's budget of AZN 5 billion 16 million 397 thousand 622. The rise in the budget reflects the government's ongoing commitment to bolstering the education sector.
