Baku:Azerbaijan exported products worth $1.349 billion to CIS countries in the first eight months of this year, reflecting a 13.4% increase compared to the same period last year as reported by the State Customs Committee (SCC).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the export increase amounted to $159.205 million, highlighting a significant growth in trade relations with CIS countries.

During the same period, Azerbaijan's imports from CIS countries totaled $2.360 billion, which is 38.5% or $1.476 billion less than the previous year.

These trade figures represented 6.18% of Azerbaijan's total exports and 20.66% of its total imports.
