Azerbaijan’s Foreign Trade Turnover Sees Notable Increase in 2025

Baku: Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover experienced a significant increase of 3.6% in the first eight months of 2025, reaching 32 billion 118 million US dollars.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this growth was reported by APA-Economics, citing data from the State Customs Committee.

During this period, exports from Azerbaijan saw a decline of 6.4%, totaling 17 billion 65.4 million US dollars. In contrast, imports surged by 17.9% to 15 billion 52.6 million US dollars. Despite the overall growth in trade turnover, the positive balance achieved in foreign trade was 2 billion 12.7 million dollars, which is 2.7 times less compared to the same period in the previous year.
