Baku: Azerbaijan’s revenues in the information and communications sector have increased by more than 7% during the first seven months of this year. The State Statistical Committee reported that from January to July, the value of services provided by enterprises in this field reached 2,082.8 million manats.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this figure represents a 7.4% rise compared to the same period in the previous year. A significant portion, 73.1%, of these services were consumed by the general population. Additionally, the mobile phone communication sector contributed 33.7%, equivalent to 702.6 million manats, of the total income generated by these services.
