Baku: Azerbaijan has successfully transported 561 million tons of oil to Trkiye and international markets via Trkiye. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov highlighted these achievements in his address at the 5th Azerbaijan-Trkiye Energy Forum.

The minister outlined that a total of 561 million tons of oil and 196 billion cubic meters of gas have been supplied from Azerbaijan to Trkiye and through Trkiye to international markets using the current oil and gas infrastructure. He detailed that 130 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas were transported to Trkiye, with 40 billion cubic meters of that amount being transported via the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP).

In the initial eight months of this year alone, 6.2 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas were sent to Trkiye. Additionally, 7.5 billion cubic meters of gas reached European countries through Trkiye, while 1 billion cubic meters were sent to Syria.
