Azerbaijan’s Oil Exports to Italy Exceed 9 Million Tons

Baku: Azerbaijan exported nearly 16 million tons of oil to 20 countries from January to July this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan’s largest oil export destination during this period was Italy, with 9,198,216.58 tons of oil valued at 4,801,518.97 thousand US dollars. This significant volume secured Italy’s position as the top importer of Azerbaijani oil.

Czechia ranked second on the list of Azerbaijan’s oil export destinations, with exports totaling 1,217,841.38 tons, worth 653,375.34 thousand US dollars. Croatia occupied the third position, importing 919,870.22 tons of oil valued at 497,444.69 thousand US dollars from Azerbaijan during the same period.

According to the information available, the reported figures represent the value of exported oil that has completed customs clearance within the reporting period. Overall, Azerbaijan exported 15,924,752.22 tons of oil, amounting to 8,396,005.89 thousand US dollars, to 18 countries during this period.

The list of countries importing Azerbaijani oil, ranked by statistical value, is as follows: Italy, Czech Republic, Croatia, Germany, Romania, Portugal, Great Britain, Ireland, Greece, Netherlands, Tunisia, Thailand, Indonesia, Switzerland, Denmark, Bulgaria, Austria, France, Trkiye, and India.
