Baku: Azerbaijan exported 10,125,467.17 tons of oil worth $6,231,422.24 thousand to more than 10 countries in January-June this year, the State Customs Committee said, APA-Economics reports. During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 5,915,025.73 tons of oil worth $3,495,238.67 thousand to Italy, making it the country's largest destination for oil exports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Czech Republic ranked second in terms of the value of Azerbaijan's oil exports. During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 705,791.25 tons of oil worth $497,377.57 thousand to the country. Bulgaria ranked third by the value of Azerbaijan's oil exports. In January-June, Azerbaijan exported 358,842.99 tons of oil worth $253,113.5 thousand to the country.
The figures include the value of exported oil whose customs clearance was completed during the reporting period. APA-Economics presents the ranking of the countries to which Azerbaijan exported oil in January-June this year, based on the value of oil exports. Other notable destinations include Romania, India, and Portugal, which received oil exports worth $247,844.98 thousand, $247,366.97 thousand, and $221,958.01 thousand, respectively. Additional countries such as Germany, Tunisia, Greece, and Croatia also featured in the list, receiving significant quantities of oil from Azerbaijan.
