Baku: Azerbaijan's salt production has seen a significant boost in the first quarter of 2026. In the period from January to March, the country produced 26,837 tons of salt, representing a 33% increase compared to the same timeframe in the previous year.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the State Statistical Committee revealed that in the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan's salt production amounted to 20,184.2 tons. This notable rise in production underscores the growth in the country's salt industry over the past year.
