Azerbaijan’s State Budget Revenues Surpass AZN 17 Billion

Baku: Azerbaijan’s state budget revenues for the period of January to May this year reached AZN 17,138.0 million, exceeding the five-month forecast by AZN 639.7 million, or 3.9%, as reported by the Ministry of Finance.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the breakdown of the revenues reveals that collections through the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy amounted to 7,843.3 million AZN, surpassing the forecast by 423 million AZN or 5.7%. The State Customs Committee contributed revenues of 2,589.5 million AZN, exceeding the forecast by 2.5 million AZN or 0.1%. The State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy generated 18 million AZN in revenues, surpassing the forecast by 3.7 million AZN or 25.9%. Transfers from the State Oil Fund fully met the forecast, amounting to 6,033.8 million AZN. Other revenues totaled 398.4 million AZN, exceeding the forecast by 297.2 million AZN or 3.9 times. However, revenues from paid services of organizations funded by the state budget amounted to 255 million AZN, which is 86.7 million AZN or 25.4% less than the forecast.

State budget expenditures for the first five months of 2025 were reported at 13,691.8 million AZN, which represents 96.5% of the forecasted 14,195 million AZN.
