Azerbaijan’s Tourism Services Turnover Reaches $2.7 Billion in Nine Months

Baku: Azerbaijan’s tourism services turnover in the first nine months of 2025 amounted to $2.7 billion, according to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. The turnover saw a slight decrease of 0.5% compared to the previous period.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the exports of tourism services, which totaled $1.5 billion, surpassed the imports valued at $1.2 billion, resulting in a surplus of $0.3 billion. During this timeframe, there was a 2.6% decrease in the number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad and a 1.8% reduction in foreign citizens visiting Azerbaijan. The volume of tourism-related services provided by foreign countries to Azerbaijani residents totaled $1.2 billion, with 75.1% attributed to personal trips of Azerbaijani citizens, excluding funds for shuttle imports.
