Minsk: Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states has experienced a significant increase, surpassing 21% in growth. This announcement was made by Prime Minister Ali Asadov during a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS, as reported by APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Prime Minister Asadov emphasized the importance of enhancing trade and economic relations with CIS nations, highlighting that mutual trade is on a steady rise. He noted that Azerbaijan’s trade volume with CIS countries reached 4.7 billion US dollars in the first eight months of this year. The Prime Minister further stated that diversifying the economy remains a priority task for the state.
