Tashkent: The computer-assisted joint command-staff exercise Maharat-2025, involving servicemen from the Azerbaijan Army, concluded successfully in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this exercise was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan and falls under the 2025 bilateral military cooperation plan between the two nations’ defense ministries.

During the exercise, the Azerbaijani military contingent participated in cultural-mass events, including visits to significant historical sites such as the monument complex of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Victory Park, and the State Museum of Glory. These sites are emblematic of the heroism and selflessness of the Uzbek people during the Second World War.

The exercise scenario tasked participants with planning a special operation aimed at searching for, locating, and neutralizing illegal armed groups. The operations were conducted using advanced modeling and simulation software to enhance the realism and effectiveness of the training.

All objectives set during the joint command-staff exercise were met with success, demonstrating the capabilities and preparedness of the participating forces. The event concluded with the recognition and awarding of servicemen who distinguished themselves throughout the exercise.
