Azerconnect Group Partners with ‘4SI Academy – National Program’ to Boost Digital Economy Skills

Baku: The country’s leading ICT company, Azerconnect Group, has become a partner of the ‘4SI Academy – National Program’, a significant initiative aimed at accelerating the transition to a digital economy in Azerbaijan. The project focuses on enhancing the knowledge and skills of citizens in fourth industrial revolution technologies and supporting the development of professional talent.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the partnership was announced at an event attended by over 100 representatives from the public sector, private industry, and academia. Mushfig Aliyev, Chief Commercial Officer of Azerconnect Group, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovative projects in new technologies, emphasizing AI-based solutions. He remarked on the importance of developing human resources alongside technical capabilities to maintain competitiveness in a rapidly advancing technological era. The National Program is a collaborative effort by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy, the Education Development Foundation under the Ministry of Science and Education, and Coursera. The program offers tens of thousands of people the opportunity to access up to 8,000 courses and programs for free, covering areas such as AI, machine learning, big data, data analytics, and more. Training is provided by approximately 350 prestigious universities and leading technology companies, including Oxford, Stanford, Yale, Microsoft, and Google. Azerbaijani subtitles, powered by AI, are available for the 2,500 most popular Coursera courses. Successful participants will receive internationally recognized certificates, and interested individuals can register online.
