Baku: The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee of "AzerGold" CJSC held its next meeting with the residents of Chovdar and Gushchu villages, as well as other settlements of the Dashkasan district. The meeting took place at the Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area (CIRPA) and was attended by Ilgar Jalilov, Member of the Executive Board and Deputy Chairman of "AzerGold" CJSC, Vugar Mammadov, Deputy Head of the Dashkasan District Executive Authority, and other committee members.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the meeting focused on ongoing efforts to support the socio-economic development of villages and settlements near the mines operated by the Joint-Stock Company. Detailed information was shared on initiatives for environmental protection and improving the welfare of local communities. In the first half of 2026, 15 social projects were implemented in the district, contributing to state policy by enhancing social welfare, landscaping, education, cultural enlightenment, and sports development.

Plans for the remainder of the year include installing a solar-powered street lighting system in Gushchu village, organizing a mobile medical examination campaign, and establishing an educational center for Dashkasan schoolchildren. These initiatives are part of the partnership between "AzerGold" CJSC and the Dashkasan District Executive Authority to further develop local infrastructure.

During the meeting, residents' appeals were heard, and an exchange of views took place regarding their proposals. The issues raised were officially registered for further investigation and evaluation of possible solutions in accordance with legislative requirements. The CSR Committee of "AzerGold" CJSC plans to continue such meetings to identify social needs, strengthen public dialogue, and foster cooperation with local communities.
