According to the order of the Minister of Education, Emin Amrullayev, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), a ceremony was held to present awards to the employees of this higher educational institution who were awarded the badge “advanced worker” and a certificate of honor.

Speaking at the event, Rector Vilayat Valiyev congratulated the awardees and wished them success. Rector also recalled that on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of AzTU, a group of faculty members was awarded by the orders of President Ilham Aliyev and thanked the head of state for such an assessment of the university staff. He noted that currently the main goal is to develop AzTU at the level of the best universities in the region, to improve the quality of teaching. For this purpose, the experience of Turkish and a number of foreign universities has been widely used recently.
