Baku: Co-chairman of the Joint Economic, Trade and Technical Commission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Qatar, Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov, attended the official reception organized by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Baku on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov congratulated the people of Qatar on their National Day on behalf of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and expressed wishes for peace and ongoing progress for Qatar. He highlighted the friendship and mutual respect underpinning the diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar, which have developed over the past thirty years.

The Minister emphasized the broadening relations between the two nations, which have been fostered by the strategic policies of their leaders. He noted the efforts of the Joint Economic, Trade, and Technical Commission in enhancing cooperation, mentioning the importance of the fourth meeting of the Commission held in November to deepen economic ties. The first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Qatar Joint Business Council, conducted within the framework of this meeting, was also discussed.

Kamaladdin Heydarov further addressed the collaborative efforts in emergency management between Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations and Qatar’s relevant agencies, highlighting the advantages of expanding these relations.
