Baku:Baku Metro Closed Joint Stock Company has received new authority following a recent development.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree granting Baku Metro the responsibility for providing passenger transportation services related to cableways.

This new authority includes enhancing the quality and safety of these services, as well as overseeing the construction and operation of passenger cableways.
