Baku State University and Johanniter Academy of Germany Sign Memorandum of Understanding

Baku State University (BSU) and the Johanniter Academy of Germany have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement marks the beginning of a new cooperation between the two institutions, focusing on a range of collaborative activities.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the memorandum outlines plans for joint projects, including conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, short-term courses, and training programs. These initiatives aim to enhance the teaching and learning processes, aligning them with international standards across faculties, institutes, and colleges at both BSU and Johanniter Academy.

The document further details provisions for joint publications in scientific journals, the development of joint academic programs, curricula, and syllabuses. Additionally, the agreement includes the organization of training sessions and the exchange of academic and administrative staff, students, master's students, doctoral candid ates, and researchers between the two institutions.

The memorandum was officially signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Head of the Johanniter Academy Lars Menzel, symbolizing a commitment to fostering mutual academic growth and excellence.
