Baku: The Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Anar Guliyev, expressed his satisfaction in addressing representatives from almost 100 accredited diplomatic missions during a briefing at the UN Office in Geneva. This briefing was dedicated to the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Guliyev highlighted that WUF13 will act as a global platform to devise solutions through the collaboration of governments, cities, international organizations, the private sector, academia, and civil society. The forum will mark a first in its history by convening a Leaders' Summit, underscoring the belief that housing and urban development require leadership at the highest political level.

Guliyev extended an invitation to all countries and international partners to actively participate in WUF13, expressing anticipation for welcoming delegations to Baku in 2026.
