Baku: Turkish scientists, at the invitation of Farhad Guliyev, Director of the ANAS Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, have visited Azerbaijan to explore its ancient historical monuments and tangible cultural examples. The delegation included Professor Saban Dogan, Chairman of the Turkish Institute of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, and Burcu Bilir, a specialist archaeologist from the same ministry.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Professor Dogan and Burcu Bilir visited the Museum and Exhibition Hall of the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology located in Icherisheher, as well as the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan. During their visit, they acquainted themselves with rare material and cultural samples from various historical periods that have been discovered and exhibited in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As part of their itinerary, the Turkish archaeologists also toured the Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve. Vugar Isayev, Director of the Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve, guided the guests through the site, showcasing the preserved monuments. In an exchange of views, Professor Saban Dogan remarked on the significance of Azerbaijan's monuments and cultural artifacts, describing them as rare gems of global importance that reflect the history of humanity.
