Istanbul: The crisis surrounding Rafa Silva at Besiktas continues to escalate as Club President Serdal Adali announced that the player could be sold for 15 million euros. This development comes amidst ongoing tensions between Silva and the club’s management.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Adali revealed that Rafa Silva has had minimal communication with the club since a press conference held with head coach Sergen Yal§in. The only interaction Silva has had was a discussion with Vice President Murat Kili§. Adali further emphasized that while the technical staff monitors Silva’s preparation, the decision to play ultimately lies with Silva himself. He stated, “If he wants to play, he will play. Whoever pays 15 million euros can buy Rafa Silva.”
Rafa Silva has been absent from the team’s squad for an extended period, initially citing an injury as the reason for missing training sessions. Subsequently, he expressed his desire to leave the club. Although the Portuguese footballer has recently resumed training, he has yet to make an appearance in the team’s lineup.
