Book Exhibition Celebrates Azerbaijani Language and Alphabet at Presidential Library

Baku: A book exhibition dedicated to August 1 - Day of the Azerbaijani Alphabet and the Azerbaijani Language has been organized at the Presidential Library. The exhibition displays publications covering the historical development, scientific study, and modern application areas of the Azerbaijani language.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exhibition features scientific publications on key fields of linguistics such as syntax, lexicology, terminology, dialectology, and onomastics. Additionally, the exposition includes books focused on the use of the Azerbaijani language in academic and business environments, speech culture, rhetoric, and its functional capacities within a multicultural environment.

A dedicated section of the exhibition presents publications reflecting the views of National Leader Heydar Aliyev on the Azerbaijani language and Azerbaijan's language policy. This section highlights the policy aimed at preserving, developing, and expanding the application of the state language across various spheres of society.

The exposition comprises textbooks, methodological guides, and monographs intended for pedagogical and scientific audiences. It also includes publications on the teaching of the Azerbaijani language, language-culture relations, development trends under globalization, and its role in the modern communication landscape.
