In January-June of 2024, 110,152 thousand barrels of oil were transported through the territory of Trkiye via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, which is 3.18% less in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS).

According to the information, in the corresponding period of 2023, 94,115 thousand barrels of oil were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline through Trkiye’s territory.

It should be noted that last year, 228,811 thousand barrels of oil were transported to Trkiye’s territory via the BTC pipeline, which is 1.5% higher compared to the indicator for 2022.

Recall that oil produced from Azerbaijan’s “Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli” fields is imported through the BTC pipeline. Besides, the oil of other producers is also sent to the territory of Trkiye through the pipeline.
