After a tightly contested first half, Brazil responded after the break, with Casemiro equalising in the 56th minute as the five-time champions increased the pressure. Gabriel Martinelli completed the comeback deep into stoppage time, scoring in the 90+5 minute to send Brazil through.

Brazil will face the winner of Tuesday's match between Ivory Coast and Norway on July 5.
