Caucasus Muslims Office Urges Early Registration for Hajj Pilgrimage

Baku: The Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) has issued a call for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to register early, as new measures are being implemented to streamline the process. Vusal Jahangiri, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the CMO and Director of the Hajj electronic system, emphasized the importance of early registration to ensure a spot for the pilgrimage.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Jahangiri noted that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is introducing new procedures each year to facilitate early preparation for Hajj. Instructions have been sent to Hajj missions worldwide to start accepting applications shortly after the conclusion of the previous pilgrimage. The visa issuance process has also been expedited, with completion expected by the end of Ramadan.

Jahangiri highlighted a common issue where many citizens delay their applications until the end of the season, often resulting in the quota being full. He urged potential pilgrims to apply without delay to secure their place for the pilgrimage.
