Baku: A meeting of the Central Election Commission is scheduled for tomorrow to address the potential termination of Ramil Hasan’s parliamentary activity. The discussion arises as Hasan is set to assume the role of Secretary General of the Turkic States Parliamentary Assembly (TURKPA).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hasan was elected to this prestigious position at the 14th plenary session in Astana, Kazakhstan, on June 12. He is slated to commence his duties tomorrow. Hasan’s appointment marks a return to TURKPA leadership, having previously served as Secretary General from 2009 to 2013, succeeding Turkish Mehmet Sureyya in the role.
