Chair of Georgia’s Supreme Court Visits Azerbaijan’s Khankendi and Khojaly Cities

Khankendi:A delegation led by the Chair of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Nino Kadagidze, visited the cities of Khankendi and Khojaly in Azerbaijan as part of a trip to the Garabagh region.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation's visit began with a tour of the Khankendi Court Complex and the Victory Park. In Khankendi, the delegation was welcomed by Sabuhi Gahramanov, who is the Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts. The Georgian delegation received a briefing on the modern judicial infrastructure at the Khankendi Court Complex, discussing its operations, judicial proceedings, and the conditions provided for judges.

The delegation continued its visit to the Victory Park in Khankendi before proceeding to the city of Khojaly. There, they toured the Khojaly Memorial Complex and observed ongoing restoration and reconstruction efforts, as well as the development of modern infrastructure in the city.

The visit highlights the significance of legal and judicial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, emphasizing mutual exchanges of experience and the strengthening of bilateral ties.
