Seoul: A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Inam Karimov, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, visited Seoul, South Korea, to attend the 20th Conference of Chief Justices of Asia and the Pacific from September 16-18. The conference addressed critical topics such as the role of the judiciary, the integration of artificial intelligence in judicial processes, modernizing judicial training, and enhancing public trust in the judicial system, alongside media relations, judicial independence, and the evolution of arbitration.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Inam Karimov delivered a speech at the event, where he provided insights into the judicial and legal reforms implemented in Azerbaijan. He highlighted the advancements in the country's judicial system aimed at responding to contemporary challenges. Karimov emphasized the necessity of international collaboration to tackle the issues confronting Azerbaijan's judiciary.

During his visit, Karimov engaged in discussions with several key judicial figures, including Cho Hee-dae, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of South Korea; Aigars Strupi‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬¦¡s, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Latvia; Petr Angyalossy, President of the Supreme Court of Czechia; and mer Kerkez, President of the Court of Cassation of Trkiye. These meetings centered on enhancing judicial and legal cooperation, expanding expertise exchange, and adapting judicial systems to address modern challenges effectively, as well as exploring future cooperation prospects.
