Children and Adolescents Receive Bicycles at Leyla Aliyeva’s Initiative


Baku: A special social campaign was organized to provide bicycles to children and adolescents in the Khizi, Guba, Gakh, and Yevlakh districts, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the campaign took place on May 11 and distributed a total of 200 bicycles to children and adolescents aged 6 to 18, with 50 bicycles allocated for each district. Along with the bicycles, the recipients were provided with appropriate safety equipment to ensure their well-being while riding.



The initiative aims to encourage children in these regions to make productive use of their free time by fostering an interest in sports and a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, the campaign seeks to promote physical activity and the use of bicycles as an eco-friendly mode of transportation. The recipients received the bicycles with joy and expressed their gratitude to the organizers for this thoughtful initiative.
