China-Tajikistan Industrial Collaboration Aims to Boost Economic Development


Dushanbe: The expansion of the industrial partnership between China and Tajikistan is crucial for the economic development and prosperity of both nations, according to Sherali Kabir, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan.

According to Trend News Agency, Minister Kabir emphasized the significance of the partnership during his speech at the China Mining 2024 international forum and exhibition. “We believe that expanding our partnership in the fields of industry and new technologies is crucial for our countries. We are convinced that joint efforts and innovative approaches will help us reach new heights in the development of our economies and ensure the prosperity of our peoples,” Kabir stated.

In his address, Kabir also extended an invitation to industry ministers from China, Turkey, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and other attendees to participate in the first international investment forum and exhibition for the mining and metallurgical sector in Tajikistan, scheduled to take place on October
29-30 in Dushanbe. The forum aims to foster further cooperation and attract investments into the sector, which is vital for Tajikistan’s economic growth.

The event, China Mining 2024, has been held annually since 1999 and has become a significant gathering for stakeholders in the mining industry, addressing various issues and fostering international cooperation. This year’s theme, “Promoting Mining Cooperation for a Better Future,” highlights the event’s focus on sustainable and cooperative growth within the global mining sector.
