Baku: Cholpon-Ata and Shusha have become sister cities, APA's correspondent dispatched to Kyrgyzstan reports. Rustam Kadyrkulov, Mayor of Cholpon-Ata, and Latif Gandilov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kyrgyz Republic, exchanged the Memorandum on the Establishment of Sister City Relations between Cholpon-Ata and Shusha.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the formal exchange of documents underscores a commitment to fostering cooperation and mutual understanding between the two cities. The sister-city agreement aims to facilitate cultural, economic, and social exchanges, enhancing ties between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
