Baku: Restoration and reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories are being implemented in accordance with global urban planning standards, Ramil Jahangirov, head of the Project Management Department for the liberated territories at the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, said during his speech at the dialogue session titled 'BBB Publication (TBC)' held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Jahangirov emphasized that special guidelines have been prepared for construction companies working in the liberated territories. Efforts in this direction are ongoing to ensure that the developments align with international norms.

The department head highlighted existing cooperation with international companies in the liberated territories. Restoration and construction activities continue in regions such as Shusha and Zangilan, among others. The main objective is to implement the plans in accordance with the specific characteristics of each area. These territories faced near-total destruction, and restoration efforts are being meticulously planned and executed from the ground up.
