Baku: A Nigerian delegation showcased its global experience at the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), emphasizing the significance of sustainable urban development. 'WUF13 is an important platform for building global dialogue, promoting innovation, and creating new partnerships,' stated James Ugah, Chief Executive Officer at Habitat for Africa initiative Nigeria, during an interview with AZERTAC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ugah highlighted the delegation's enthusiasm about participating in the forum. He noted that the primary focus of the event centered around sustainable cities, settlements, and urban resilience. He described his organization as a pivotal center for managing and coordinating urban development in Nigeria, underscoring the importance of engaging in discussions, forming partnerships, and sharing experiences at a global level.
Ugah also expressed appreciation to the forum's organizers for providing effective cooperation opportunities, facilitating meaningful exchanges and potential collaborations during the event.
