Congolese Minister Praises Baku’s Urban Planning at UN Forum

Baku: Congolese Minister Alexis Gisaro Muvuni has expressed admiration for the urban development witnessed in Baku, describing it as a model from which much can be learned. Speaking at the 13th Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), Muvuni, who serves as the Minister of State for Infrastructure and Public Works of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, emphasized the inspirational nature of Baku's rapid transformation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Muvuni underscored the importance of the UN World Urban Forum in providing an opportunity to learn from the successful urban planning experiences of other countries. He stressed the forum's role in enabling the Democratic Republic of the Congo to showcase its potential and attract investment. Muvuni expressed hopes of engaging with international partners and private sector investors to highlight Africa as a promising destination for investment, aiming to encourage investments in both the Congo and the wider African continent.
