Horadiz: The construction of the Horadiz-Jabrayil-Zangilan-Aghband road, also known as the Zangezur Corridor, has reached 95% completion, transforming the region’s infrastructure landscape.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the main road spans 123.6 km and is nearing completion, with the entire Zangezur Corridor project stretching a total of 149.9 km. This significant infrastructure project is being developed to meet modern standards and high-quality requirements, promising enhanced connectivity and economic benefits.
The road is categorized as 1B, highlighting its capacity for high-speed and safe travel. The specifications include a road width ranging from 14 to 21 meters, and a roadbed width between 21.5 and 29.5 meters. The road is designed to accommodate 4 to 6 traffic lanes, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of vehicles.
These technical features are set to provide favorable conditions for comfortable and uninterrupted traffic, marking a significant milestone in regional development and connectivity.
