Baku: The court hearing scheduled for December 30 in the criminal case against Armenian citizen Ruben Vardanyan, who is accused of multiple serious offenses under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been postponed for an indefinite period. The charges include crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, terrorism, and the financing of terrorism, among other grave offenses.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the postponement is due to the ongoing deliberation by a judicial panel led by Judge Zeynal Aghayev, with judges Anar Rzayev and Jamal Ramazanov, and reserve judge Gunel Samadova, in a separate case involving 15 Armenian citizens. The next hearing in Vardanyan's case will take place after this panel concludes its deliberations.

These articles encompass planning and waging a war of aggression, deportation, persecution, torture, mercenary activity, violations of international humanitarian law, intentional murder, attempted murder, illegal entrepreneurship, terrorism, financing of terrorism, creation of a criminal group, illegal arms activities, threats to aviation safety, forcible seizure of power, and illegal border crossing.
